Twin Citizen

Twin Citizen is a collection of individuals dedicated to crafting unique, accessible, funk, alternative, synth, progressive and independent style of rock music. Consisting of Joe Hartley on vocals and rhythm guitar, Adam Lifto on lead guitar, Laura Lunde on bass, Ryan Taylor on Keyboards, and Sam McKinney on drums. 

Twin Citizen is excited to announce we have begun the journey of recording our long-awaited and first full-length album. We will be releasing singles along the way and tentatively plan to have the album completed and released by the summer of 2027. 

Twin Citizen creates emotionally rich music to foster human connection through spiritual and transformative artistic expression. We maintain a joyful, playful, and passionate identity rooted in community engagement for the collective benefit of our fans, fellow artists, and the Twin Cities music scene. We look to the future through a lens of professionalism, advocacy, support for underserved communities, mutual respect, and collaboration. We celebrate diverse influences and experiences as we pursue a sonically borderless musical identity. Our performances are immersive spaces where listeners feel engaged, understood, energized, and uplifted. We strive to be as impactful in our relationships as we are in our sound, leaving a legacy as artists who gave more than we took, lifted others, and inspired transformation through our craft.
